Event of the Month Highlight
Serving up amazing beverages for an amazing cause, our friends Tap Truck BG poured at the Bike4alz corn hole tournament in Bowling Green Kentucky! Bike4alz is an amazing organization that aims to raise awareness towards a disease that affects so many. Every year a group of courageous bikers ride from San Francisco to Virginia, stopping at various locations along the way to raise funds for Alzheimer's research!
Tap Truck BG participated in this noble cause by providing their legendary 1957 Chevy Tap Truck! This year their taps were full of a solid selection including; Angry Orchard Hard Cider, New Belgium-Fat Tire, and the corn hole tournament favorite: ‘Michelob Ultra’!
This year was the third year Tap Truck BG participated. Owner Dave Skinner, mentioned how much he loves supporting this meaningful cause, "Our favorite part of the event is just the satisfaction coming from knowing you're raising money for a good cause. We never charge for this event. We walk away with business interest each time but most importantly, is the fact that we’re doing a good deed."
How amazing is that?! We love hearing about all the amazing events our Tap Truck Family is participating in. With that let's all raise a glass to Tap Truck BG and their awesome event!

New Licensee Shoutout
We are thrilled to add Tap Truck East Bay to the Tap Family and are proud to introduce East Bay owners Liz and Billy! From Oakland, CA, Liz and Billy are proud dog parents to two adorable bulldogs named Potato and Pudge! Billy is a tattoo shop owner and artist and has been in the industry for 11 years! Liz has a background in tech but prior to that she lived in Austin, TX, and is stoked to get back into the bar scene.
While Billy is more of an IPA guy, Liz is more of a cocktail person, together they are the perfect pair to tackle the East Bay area!
Through TikTok, Liz was introduced to Tap Truck USA and instantly knew it was a perfect fit! Their first official Tap Truck is a sweet 1957 Chevy Truck named “BABS”!
They look forward to working in a diverse selection of events so they can learn the ropes behind them all! However, they are most excited about working celebratory events as the guests are always in a great mood and love to have a quick chat! They cannot wait to serve weddings, car shows, food truck events, and many more. The possibilities are endless!

Here at Tap Truck USA, we know how important it is to have a top-tier social media performance. We love answering all of our community's questions, and helping everyone grow together! We are always getting asked for advice about engagement and brand awareness on Instagram. Although this is definitely a more complex topic than a few bullet points, we wanted to share a few basic tips on what we have seen work the best!
Q1: What are the best kinds of posts for Instagram?
Let’s get right to it! The best kinds of Instagram posts are high-quality content that showcases the overall event experience. This is best executed through Instagram Reels, Carousel posts (multiple images), and carefully crafted Instagram Stories.
Posting is all about visual storytelling, so it’s essential to create content that grabs attention, evokes emotions, and that leaves a lasting impression! Uploading event highlights on a carousel or through a reel is a great way to showcase the lively atmosphere, happy guests, delicious drinks, and the amazing overall ambiance. This is especially helpful for potential clients to gain a sense of what to expect when they book with any Tap Truck!
Q2: What are some ways to increase engagement on Instagram content?
First off, quality content is key to increasing engagement on any platform. Whether you are posting a picture or a reel of an event, do your best to capture the highest quality images/video you can. If you need some inspiration be sure to check out the Tap Truck USA Instagram, we are always posting amazing content of our Tap Truck Family!
Once you are updating your page with all of your great content, the next thing is, to post consistently! We get it, with a busy day-to-day it’s hard to find time to schedule out new material. But even spending an hour or two a week to make sure you are keeping your business page up to date is huge!
By regularly posting high-quality content you can ensure that your viewers will be anticipating your next post. Also, be sure to personally respond to messages, comments, and mentions as quickly as possible to show that you value their input and appreciate the engagement!
We hope that our readers find this content useful and look forward to sharing more insights and knowledge in the future!
